The first incident occurred at a restaurant where a suspect entered while wearing a mask. The suspect allegedly produced a handgun and jumped over the counter. An employee was able to flee the restaurant and the suspect fled the area empty-handed.
The second incident happened at a store in the area. The suspect, who was masked, allegedly produced a handgun and demand cash. He fled the scene with cash, police allege.
Police arrived and the suspect was taken into custody. A replica handgun and the victim’s stolen vehicle were allegedly recovered.
