Driver, passenger injured in Mississauga collision

Two people were sent to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Mississauga on Wednesday night.

Emergency responders were called to Drew Road and Kimbel Street near Torbram Road around 11:30 p.m.

Paramedics initially transported the woman to hospital in critical condition. In an update, police said her injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening.

Peel Regional Police investigators say the woman was a passenger in the vehicle.

The man driving the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The area was closed to traffic but has since reopened.
