Man stabbed, seriously injured in Toronto’s downtown core

A man suffered serious injuries after being stabbed in Toronto’s downtown core.

Police were notified of a stabbing just after 5:30 a.m. in the Yonge Street and Shuter Street area.

A man in his 30s was located with serious injuries and has been transported to a hospital.

Police said the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

There is no suspect description at this time.
