Missing 81-year-old man in High Park area found

Toronto police say they have found an 81-year-old man in the High Park area, after he was reported missing.

81-year-old, Allen, was last seen on Sept. 6 at 3 p.m., in the Bloor Street West and High Park Avenue area.

Toronto police tell CityNews Allen has dementia and needs to take medication daily.

Drones, K-9 and mounted units were used in the search. Police continued their search well into Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Police say Allen was found safe on Tuesday morning.
