Driver loses control of vehicle, crashes into pedestrians at Long Branch Loop

An elderly man is in hospital after a driver lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a TTC waiting area in the Long Branch Loop on Saturday.

Police said it happened near Lake Shore Boulevard and Brown’s Line around 3 a.m.

Paramedics said two pedestrians were struck.

An elderly man was inside a bus shelter when the driver lost control of the vehicle and the elderly man suffered an injury to his leg.

Two women were in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries.

No charges have been laid at this time.
