Residents bundled up for first October weekend

Torontonians are feeling the chill during the first weekend in October, as decidedly cooler temperatures have arrived.

“Today we got up to 12 C, with cool winds. If you compare this to last weekend – on Saturday, September 24 we hit 21.1 C and a low of 11.1 C. The low is close to our high for today!” said CityNews weather specialist Sangita Patel.

“There is rain on the way and cool temperatures for tomorrow as well for Monday. Later in the week we will warm up above seasonal with sunny skies.”

Sunday will see showers with a high of 11 C and a low of 4 C.

The wet weather will continue for the start of the work week, with showers expected on Monday and a high of 12 C and a low of 7 C.

The sunshine will return on Tuesday, with an expected high of 16 C.
