Teen found dead in suspected drowning in Georgian Bay area

An Ancaster teen is dead after he likely drowned in a Georgian Bay-area lake on Saturday.
The 15-year-old, who was at a cottage on Baxter Lake, was swimming with friends around 4 p.m. when he ran into trouble and disappeared underwater.
A search and rescue team found his body about five hours later.
A coroner pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
An autopsy will be performed.
