CUPERTINO, Calif. (AP) _ Aemetis Inc. (AMTX) on Thursday reported a loss of $12.2 million in its third quarter.

The Cupertino, California-based company said it had a loss of 59 cents per share.

The renewable fuels and specialty chemicals company posted revenue of $40.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company’s shares hit $2.09. A year ago, they were trading at $1.
