U2 Announces Tour Details

One of the world’s biggest bands delighted its countless fans Monday, with U2 announcing the details of a highly anticipated world tour that’ll land the veteran Irish rockers at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Sept. 16.
According to the group’s website, the 360° Tour will visit 14 cities across Europe including dates in Milan, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Dublin, Chorzow, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, London, Sheffield and Glasgow before finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22.
The North American leg will commence at Chicago’s Soldier Field on September 12th. Dates are also set for Atlanta, Charlottesville, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Norman, Phoenix, Tampa, Washington DC and Vancouver.
Known for its highly entertaining and explosive live performances, U2 is again teaming with show director Willie Williams has and architect Mark Fisher to create an innovative stage design, a 360-degree platform that affords an unobstructed view for the audience.
