Fire crew take out three-alarm blaze at Bathurst and St. Clair building

TORONTO – The fire that started in the highrise building at Bathurst Street and Tichester Road was put out by fire crew and is under control.
Residents of the building are waiting to return to their units. They were asked to evacuate the building after a transformer in the building blew.
Fire crews received a call just after 8:00 p.m. Friday. The crew remains on the scene.
Residents will not be allowed back into the building until officials are able to determine if the building is safe and free from structural damage.
No one was reported as injured.
