Man charged in four month-old attempted murder case

Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man more than a dozen offences in a shooting incident from January.
In the early morning hours of January 5, police responded to a shooting in the St. Clair Avenue West and Old Weston Road area.
Police allege the accused pointed a firearm and fired at the victim, striking him in the head and twice in the chest. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Justin Longshaw was arrested over the Victoria Day weekend and charged with a total of 15 offences, including attempted murder with a firearm, careless use of a firearm and aggravated assault.
He made a court appearance on Monday morning.
