Owners of City Patties, Convenience Plus in Oshawa facing drug charges

Durham police say the owners of two Oshawa businesses are facing cannabis-related drug charges after search warrants were executed at the locations on John Street West in the city.

On Dec. 21, police searched City Patties and Convenience Plus and investigators found and seized more than 500 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia as well as cash.

Andre Rankine, 36 and Nicole Teelucksingh, 49, both from Oshawa are each facing charges of possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling and selling cannabis to an adult. Rankine is facing an additional charge of possessing cannabis for the purpose of distributing and other tobacco-related charges.

They were both released on undertakings.
