Child seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A child has serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke.
Emergency crews responded to a crash at Kipling Avenue and Burnhamthorpe Road around 8 a.m. Monday.
Police say the child is being brought to hospital via emergency run. Paramedics say the suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver involved remained at the scene.
Southbound Kipling is closed at Burnhamthorpe for the investigation.
