Pedestrian killed after being struck by driver in Aurora: police

A female pedestrian was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a driver in a vehicle, police say.

According to investigators, the collision happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. in Aurora, near Goulding Avenue and Wellington Street East.

Police say the woman died at the scene and that the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.

No other details were immediately available.
