Widespread outages left approximately 90,000 homes and businesses without power across central and eastern Ontario over the weekend.
Hydro One says strong winds knocked over trees and power lines, causing the outages and impacting customers in regions like Parry Sound, Muskoka, and Hastings.
As of 8 a.m. on Sunday, over 13,000 customers were still without power.
Hydro One says while crews made significant progress Saturday restoring power, some customers may not have it restored until Sunday night.
