Sick Salad

A mother and baby-sitter may have uttered that line made famous by James Cagney after eating a McDonald’s salad.
Dallas Cowboys assistant coach Todd Haley has filed a lawsuit against the fast food chain after his wife Christine and the family’s nanny Kathryn Kelley allegedly found a dead rat in their meal.
The coach is seeking $1.7 million in damages.
The suit claims the women had taken the salad home and had started eating it when they found the rodent face up, mouth agape, lying in the leaves on June 5. The animal is believed to have been a juvenile roof rat.
It also claims the manager of the restaurant wasn’t very sympathetic when the family contacted him.
“The family needs closure,” family spokesman Scott Casterline said. “It came to a point where you have to draw a line.”
These ladies probably won’t be asking for extra toppings on their salads in the future.
