Man Killed, Another In Critical Condition Following Head-On Crash In Caledon

A head-on crash in Caledon claimed the life of one man and has left another in hospital fighting for his life.
The accident happened Tuesday just after 7pm on Highway 9 near Duffy’s Lane when a Honda Civic collided with a Land Rover. Authorities said the Honda was in the wrong lane when the crash occurred.
The driver of the Civic, Abraham Degeling, 82, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 54-year-old driver of the Land Rover was initially taken to an Orangeville hospital and then transferred to St. Mike’s.
