WB Hwy. 401 reopens at 427 after truck fire

Highway 401, west of the Highway 427, has reopened after a tractor-trailer went up in flames early Thursday morning.

The westbound express lanes were closed for several hours due to the clean up, but have since reopened.

The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The tractor-trailer was stuffed full of compressed cardboard. The fire burned for several hours.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
