Victim, suspect both in hospital after stabbing in Etobicoke

Two people are in hospital, both the victim and the suspect, after a stabbing in the Bloor Street West and Gardenvale Road area, southeast of Islington Avenue.
Toronto police responded to a call just after 12:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon that a person had been stabbed and a person was located with serious injuries.
The suspect fled on foot but was caught and in custody by police.
The victim was transported to the hospital via an emergency run while the suspect was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police recovered the knife used, and an investigation is ongoing.
