Two wanted suspects arrested in Sikh temple violence

BRAMPTON, Ont. – Peel Regional Police have arrested two more suspects in connection with violence that occurred at a Sikh temple in Brampton this past weekend.
Four men were hurt in a brawl on Sunday afternoon at the Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple, located at 99 Glidden Rd. The incident stemmed from an ongoing internal dispute.
The men, ranging in age from 33 to 46, were treated at hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Amarjit Singh Mann, 58, and Surjit Singh Atwal, 54, both of Brampton, turned themselves in to police on Tuesday.
The men made their first court appearance on Thursday.
They have been hit with several weapons and assault charges.
The initial investigation led to the arrest of three other male suspects.
