Man charged in voyeurism committed indecent act on homeowner’s porch: police

A 60-year-old man from Toronto has been charged in an alleged voyeurism incident after he was caught committing an indecent act on a homeowner’s front porch.
Officers were called to the Woodycrest Avenue and Mortimer Avenue area in East York on Tuesday following reports of a suspicious incident.
It’s alleged that at around 9:15 p.m. on Monday, a man attended a homeowner’s front porch, and surveillance video captured the suspect committing an indecent act while peering into the victim’s residence.
The man was then seen walking northbound on Woodycrest Avenue.
On Wednesday, the suspect was arrested and identified as 60-year-old Abid Chaudry of Toronto.
He’s been charged with two counts of voyeurism, two counts of trespassing at night, criminal harassment and an indecent act.
The accused was scheduled to appear in court this morning.
