Boy, 14, among two others arrested in shooting death of Malachi Elijah Bainbridge

Police have arrested two more people in connection with the shooting death of Malachi Elijah Bainbridge last month in North York.

Investigators say 19-year-old Tyler James Willian of Oshawa was arrested during a vehicle stop in the Trenton area on Tuesday. He has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

On Wednesday, police say they arrested a 14-year-old from Oshawa and have also charged him with accessory after the fact to murder. He cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

As part of the investigation, police say a number of firearms have also been seized and are currently being analyzed.

Three other teens have already been charged in connection with the murder. A 16-year-old boy faces a first-degree murder charge, another 16-year-old boy faces six charges including accessory after the fact to murder while a 15-year-old girl faces five charges including accessory after the fact to murder.

Bainbridge was shot and killed in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Ingram Drive, near Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West, in the early morning hours of Jan. 22.
