It’s been a deadly week on the roads for motorcyclists. Brandon Rowe speaks with the OPP to get safety tips ahead of the long weekend.

The northbound Highway 427 off-ramp at Rathburn Road reopened hours after a male motorcyclist was killed in a fatal crash.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a passerby reported the collision at around 2:40 a.m. on Hwy. 427 northbound in Toronto.

A 28-year-old male rider was pronounced dead in hospital.

The off-ramp at Rathburn Road was closed for several hours but reopened at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.

This is the fourth fatal crash involving a motorcycle since Sunday, July 28.

On Tuesday, a 34-year-old motorcyclist died after going off the roadway and ending up in a ditch in Clarington, Ont.
