About Vrajesh
Vrajesh began as the only intern during the summer of 2020 while the newsroom cut back on new staff during the pandemic, going on to become a key leader on the sports team as a midday reporter. He also works as a breaking news reporter and weekend anchor, covering local, national, and international stories.
Known for a strong sense of responsibility, Vrajesh prides himself on being reliable and relatable in his coverage as he reports on Canadian sports and the major North American leagues. Whether it's teeing up the next big game or breaking down complex stories with clarity and humour, he loves to keep audiences engaged with his charismatic and approachable delivery.
Before broadcasting, Vrajesh completed his undergrad in biology at Queen's University, his post-grad in journalism at Humber College, and a project management certification at McGill University. Vrajesh brings a unique background to the newsroom, having worked in consulting, as a flight attendant, and for Elections Canada.
Outside of the office, Vrajesh loves comedy, fitness, and to travel. He enjoys watching and performing stand-up and sketch comedy (with a TikTok following of 30,000+), swimming and weightlifting, and exploring new cities and countries every year.
