About Alex
My career in sports broadcasting spans 20 years in the Toronto market. I am currently the afternoon sports anchor for 680 NewsRadio Toronto, where my role involves providing listeners with the most up-to-date sports news focused on Toronto-area professional sports teams. I also provide sports updates for sister radio stations in Kitchener and Halifax, where my broadcasts cover local hockey teams in those markets, the Kitchener Rangers and Halifax Mooseheads.
Throughout my career, I’ve covered a wide range of on-air roles in the sports broadcast industry including sideline reporter, talk show host, news anchor and sports announcer. I’ve covered local teams in Toronto, including the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, Raptors, Argos, Toronto FC, AFC Toronto, Toronto Sceptres and the Toronto Marlies. I have also covered major events such as the 2010 and 2012 Olympics, 2007 World Baseball Classic, Rogers Cup and RBC Canadian Open.
